12:1
“And at that time Mikha’el shall stand up, the great ruler who stands over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress such as has not been from the time there was a nation until that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered— everyone who is found written in the sefer.
12:2
And many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth shall awaken— these to everlasting life, and those to reproach and everlasting contempt.
12:3
And those who have understanding shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who turn many to Righteousness like the stars, forever and ever.
12:4
But you, Dani’el, shut up the words and seal the sefer until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
12:5
Then I, Dani’el, looked, and see— two others were standing: one upon this bank of the river, and one upon the other bank of the river.
12:6
And one said to the ish clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river: “How long until the end of these wonders?”
12:7
And I heard the ish clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he lifted his right hand and his left hand toward the heavens and swore by the One who lives forever: “For a time, times, and half a time. And when the shattering of the power of the holy people is completed, all these things shall be completed.”
12:8
And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said: “My master, what shall be the latter end of these things?”
12:9
And he said: “Go, Dani’el, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
12:10
Many shall be purified, and made white, and refined. But the wicked shall act wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand. But those who have understanding shall understand.
12:11
And from the time the continual offering is removed, and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12:12
Blessed is the one who waits and reaches one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
12:13
But you— go your way until the end. And you shall rest and stand for your allotted portion at the end of the days.”
