1
“See, I am sending My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before My face. And suddenly the Adonai whom you seek shall come to His Temple, and the messenger of the Covenant in whom you delight— see, he is coming,” says Yahuah of Hosts.
2
“But who can endure the day of his coming? And who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire and like the soap of launderers.
3
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and like silver, so that they may become those who bring near an offering to Yahuah in Righteousness.
4
Then the grain offering of Yehudah and Yerushalayim shall be pleasing to Yahuah as in the days of old and as in former years.
5
And I will draw near to you for Judgment. And I will become a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who turn aside the stranger, and do not fear Me,” says Yahuah of Hosts.
6
“For I, Yahuah, do not change. Therefore you, sons of Yaaqov, have not been consumed.
7
From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not guarded them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says Yahuah of Hosts. “But you say: ‘In what way shall we return?’
8
Will Adam rob Elohim? Yet you are robbing Me. But you say: ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In the tithes and the contributions.
9
With the curse you are cursed, for you are robbing Me— the whole nation.
10
Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My House. And test Me now in this,” says Yahuah of Hosts, “whether I will not open for you the windows of the heavens and pour out for you a blessing until there is no more need.
11
And I will rebuke the devourer for you, and he shall not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall your vine in the field fail to bear,” says Yahuah of Hosts.
12
“And all the nations shall call you blessed, for you shall become a land of delight,” says Yahuah of Hosts.
13
“Your words have been strong against Me,” says Yahuah. “But you say: ‘What have we spoken against You?’
14
You have said: ‘It is worthless to serve Elohim. And what profit is there that we have guarded His charge and that we have walked in mourning before Yahuah of Hosts?
15
And now we call the arrogant blessed. Not only are those who practice wickedness built up, but they test Elohim and escape.’”
16
Then those who feared Yahuah spoke, each ish with his companion. And Yahuah listened and heard. And a Sefer of Remembrance was written before His face for those who fear Yahuah and who regard His Name.
17
“And they shall be Mine,” says Yahuah of Hosts, “in the day when I make up My treasured possession. And I will have compassion upon them as an ish has compassion upon his son who serves him.
18
And you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves Elohim and the one who does not serve Him.”
