1
And I said: “Hear now, heads of Yaaqov and rulers of the House of Yisra’el. Is it not for you to know Judgment?
2
You who hate good and love evil, who tear off their skin from upon them and their flesh from upon their bones,
3
who eat the flesh of My people, strip their skin from upon them, break their bones, and cut them in pieces as for the pot, and as flesh within the cauldron.
4
Then they shall cry to Yahuah, but He will not answer them. And He will hide His face from them at that time, according to the evil of their deeds.
5
Thus says Yahuah concerning the prophets who cause My people to wander, who bite with their teeth and proclaim: ‘Shalom!’ But against the one who does not put something into their mouths, they set apart war.
6
Therefore night shall be for you without vision, and darkness without divination. And the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall become dark over them.
7
And the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners shall be confounded. And all of them shall cover their lips, for there is no answer from Elohim.
8
But I— surely I am filled with strength, with the Ruach of Yahuah, and with Judgment and might, to declare to Yaaqov his transgression and to Yisra’el his sin.
9
Hear this now, heads of the House of Yaaqov and rulers of the House of Yisra’el, you who abhor Judgment and twist everything straight,
10
building Tziyon with blood and Yerushalayim with crookedness.
11
Her heads judge for a bribe. Her kohenim teach for payment. Her prophets divine for silver. Yet they lean upon Yahuah, saying: ‘Is not Yahuah in our midst? No evil shall come upon us.’
12
Therefore because of you, Tziyon shall be plowed like a field, and Yerushalayim shall become heaps, and the mountain of the House like the high places of a forest.”
