1
Return, Yisra’el, to Yahuah your Elohim, for you have stumbled through your crookedness.
2
Take words with you and return to Yahuah. Say to Him: “Take away all crookedness, and receive what is good, and we will repay with the bulls of our lips.
3
Ashshur shall not save us. We will not ride upon horses. And we will no longer say, ‘Our elohim,’ to the work of our hands. For in You the fatherless finds compassion.”
4
“I will heal their turning away. I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from him.
5
I will be like the dew to Yisra’el. He shall blossom like the lily and strike his roots like Levanon.
6
His branches shall spread, and his splendor shall be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Levanon.
7
Those dwelling beneath his shadow shall return. They shall revive like grain and blossom like the vine. His remembrance shall be like the wine of Levanon.
8
Efrayim shall say: ‘What more have I to do with idols?’ I have answered him and watched over him. I am like a flourishing cypress. From Me your fruit is found.”
9
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who has understanding, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahuah are straight, and the righteous shall walk in them, but the transgressors shall stumble in them.
