1
But the beings of the righteous are in the hand of Elohim, and no torment shall touch them.
2
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was considered affliction,
3
and their going away from us destruction. But they are in shalom.
4
For though in the sight of Adam they are disciplined, their hope is full of immortality.
5
And having been disciplined a little, they shall receive great good, because Elohim tested them and found them worthy of Himself.
6
Like gold in a furnace He tested them, and like a whole ascending offering He received them.
7
In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and they shall run like sparks through stubble.
8
They shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and Yahuah shall reign over them forever.
9
Those who trust in Him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall remain with Him in love, because favor and compassion are upon His holy ones, and His visitation is upon His chosen.
10
But the wicked shall be disciplined according to their thoughts, those who neglected the righteous and revolted against Yahuah.
11
For the one who despises wisdom and discipline is miserable. Their hope is empty, their labor without fruit, and their works unprofitable.
12
Their women are foolish, their sons evil, and their generation accursed.
13
Blessed is the barren ishah who is undefiled, who has not known a bed in transgression. She shall have fruit in the visitation of beings.
14
And blessed is the eunuch whose hand has worked no lawlessness and who has devised no evil thing against Yahuah. For special favor shall be given to him for his faithfulness, and a more desirable portion in the Temple of Yahuah.
15
For the fruit of good labor is glorious, and the root of wisdom shall never fail.
16
But sons of adulterers shall not come to maturity, and the seed of an unlawful bed shall disappear.
17
Even if they live long, they shall be counted as nothing, and their latter age shall be without honor.
18
And if they die quickly, they shall have no hope, nor comfort in the day of Judgment.
19
For grievous is the end of an unrighteous generation.
