1
When Yisra'el was led captive into foreign land because they had turned from Yahuah who redeemed them, they were removed from the inheritance He had given.
2
The scattered of Yisra'el were found among every nation according to the Word of Elohim.
3
You were shown righteous, Elohim, because of our transgressions, for You are a just Judge over all peoples.
4
No one who practices injustice is hidden from Your knowledge, and the righteous works of Your devoted ones stand before You.
5
Where can Adam hide from Your knowledge?
6
Our works lie within our own choice and power: to practice righteousness or to do wrong with our hands.
7
In Your righteousness You visit the sons of Adam.
8
The one who practices righteousness stores up life with Yahuah; the one who does evil delivers his own life toward destruction.
9
To whom are You good, Elohim, except those who call upon You?
10
You cleanse a being from sins when it confesses and acknowledges them.
11
Shame is upon us and upon our faces because of these things.
12
Whom do You forgive except the one who has sinned and then turns?
13
You bless the righteous and do not hold former sin forever over the one who has repented.
14
Your goodness rests upon those who sin when they turn back.
15
Now You are our Elohim and we are the people You have loved.
16
Look upon us and show compassion, Elohim of Yisra'el, for we are Yours.
17
Do not remove Your mercy from us lest enemies attack.
18
You chose the Seed of Avraham before all nations and placed Your Name upon us.
