1
Deliver us from the lawless and slanderous tongue that speaks lies and deceit.
2
The words of the wicked tongue twist in many directions like a fire that consumes.
3
It fills houses with lying speech and cuts down the trees of gladness.
4
It turns households toward warfare through slanderous lips.
5
May Elohim remove the lips of transgressors far from the innocent and scatter the power of slander far from those who fear Yahuah.
6
Let the destructive tongue perish like a flame removed from the devoted.
7
May Yahuah preserve the quiet being that hates injustice.
8
May He establish the ish who follows shalom within the household.
9
May the deliverance of Yahuah rest upon Yisra'el His servant forever.
