1
I stretched out my hands and drew near to my Master, because the stretching of my hands is His sign.
2
My extension is the upright tree lifted upon the Way of the Righteous One.
3
I became useless to those who did not know me, because I shall hide from those who did not possess me.
4
I shall be with those who love me.
5
All my persecutors died, yet those who expected my death sought me because I am living.
6
I arose and am with them, and I shall speak by their mouths.
7
They rejected those who persecuted them, and I placed upon them the yoke of my love.
8
Like the arm of the bridegroom upon the bride is my yoke upon those who know me.
9
As the bridal chamber is spread in the house of the bridal pair, so my love is spread upon those who believe in me.
10
I was not rejected though I was considered rejected, and I did not perish though they thought it of me.
11
Sheol saw me and was shattered; Death cast me out and many with me.
12
I was gall and bitterness to it, and I descended with it to its deepest place.
13
I made its feet and its head powerless, because it could not endure my face.
14
I formed an assembly of living ones among its dead, and I spoke with them by living lips so that my Word would not be empty.
15
Those who had died ran toward me and cried, “Son of Elohim, have compassion upon us.
16
Deal with us according to Your kindness and bring us out from the bonds of darkness.
17
Open for us the door by which we may come out toward You.
18
We see that our death has not touched You.
19
Let us also be delivered with You, because You are our Deliverer.”
20
I heard their voice and placed their faith within my heart.
21
I placed my Name upon their head because they are free and belong to me.
