1
Paulos, a prisoner of Yahushua the Mashiyach, and Timotheos the brother, to Philemon, our beloved and fellow worker,
2
and to Apphia our sister, to Archippos our fellow soldier, and to the assembly in your house:
3
favor to you and shalom from Elohim our Father and the Master Yahushua the Mashiyach.
4
I always give thanks to my Elohim, remembering you in my prayers,
5
hearing of your love and the faithfulness you have toward the Master Yahushua and toward all the set-apart ones,
6
so that the sharing of your faithfulness may become effective through the full knowledge of every good thing that is among us toward the Mashiyach.
7
For I have had much joy and encouragement because of your love, because the inward parts of the set-apart ones have been refreshed through you, brother.
8
Therefore, although I have much boldness in the Mashiyach to command you concerning what is fitting,
9
because of love I rather appeal to you - being such a one as Paulos, an aged man, and now also a prisoner of Yahushua the Mashiyach.
10
I appeal to you concerning my child Onesimos, whom I fathered while in chains,
11
who once was useless to you, but now is useful both to you and to me.
12
I am sending him back to you - him, that is, my own inward parts.
13
I wanted to keep him with me, so that on your behalf he might serve me while I am in chains for the good message.
14
But I wanted to do nothing without your consent, so that your good deed would not be as though compelled, but voluntary.
15
For perhaps he was separated from you for a time for this reason: so that you might have him back permanently,
16
no longer as an enslaved person, but more than an enslaved person - a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Master.
17
Therefore, if you regard me as a partner, receive him as you would me.
18
But if he wronged you in anything or owes you anything, charge this to me.
19
I, Paulos, write this with my own hand: I will repay it - not to say to you that you owe me even yourself besides.
20
Yes, brother, may I have benefit from you in the Master. Refresh my inward parts in the Mashiyach.
21
Confident in your obedience, I wrote to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.
22
At the same time, also prepare lodging for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be given back to you.
23
Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Yahushua the Mashiyach, greets you,
24
as do Marqos, Aristarchos, Demas, and Louqas, my fellow workers.
25
The favor of the Master Yahushua the Mashiyach be with your ruach.
