1
But you: speak what accords with sound instruction.
2
Older men are to be sober, dignified, sound-minded, and sound in faithfulness, love, and endurance.
3
Older women likewise are to be reverent in conduct, not slanderers and not enslaved to much wine, but teachers of what is good,
4
so that they may train the young women to love their husbands and children,
5
to be sound-minded, clean, workers in their households, good, and subject to their own husbands, so that Elohim’s word may not be blasphemed.
6
Likewise, urge younger men to be sound-minded.
7
In all things present yourself as a pattern of good works, showing integrity and dignity in teaching,
8
and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that anyone opposing us may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say concerning us.
9
Enslaved people are to submit to their own masters in all things, to be pleasing, not contradicting,
10
not stealing, but displaying complete good faithfulness, so that in everything they may adorn the teaching of Elohim our Deliverer.
11
For the favor of Elohim has appeared, bringing deliverance to all people,
12
training us to deny irreverence and worldly desires and to live sound-mindedly, righteously, and reverently in the present age,
13
awaiting the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great Elohim and Deliverer, Yahushua the Mashiyach,
14
who gave himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness and cleanse for himself a people as his own possession, zealous for good works.
15
Speak these things, exhort, and expose with full command. Let no one disregard you.
