1
For freedom the Anointed set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not again be held under a yoke of bondage.
2
See— I, Paulos, say to you that if you receive circumcision as the basis of covenantal standing, the Anointed shall profit you nothing.
3
And again I testify to every ish receiving circumcision on that basis that he becomes obligated to keep the whole Torah as the ground of his justification.
4
You who seek to be made righteous by Torah have separated yourselves from the Anointed; you have fallen from grace.
5
For we, through Ruach, by trust, eagerly await the hope of righteousness.
6
For in Yahushua the Anointed, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has power as a status-marker, but trust working through love.
7
You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
8
This persuasion does not come from the One calling you.
9
A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
10
I trust concerning you in the Master that you shall think nothing different. But the one troubling you shall bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
11
But I, brothers, if I still proclaim circumcision as necessary for this standing, why am I still persecuted? Then the offense of the execution stake would have been removed.
12
I wish those disturbing you would go beyond circumcision and cut themselves off entirely.
13
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use freedom as an opportunity for flesh, but through love serve one another.
14
For the whole Torah is brought into one in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
15
But if you bite and devour one another, watch yourselves, lest you be consumed by one another.
16
But I say: walk by Ruach, and you shall certainly not fulfill the desire of flesh.
17
For flesh desires against Ruach, and Ruach against flesh, for these oppose one another, so that you do not simply do whatever you desire.
18
But if you are led by Ruach, you are not under Torah as condemnation and coercive guardianship.
19
Now the works of flesh are evident: sexual immorality, uncleanness, sensual excess,
20
idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, divisions, factions,
21
envy, drunkenness, revelries, and things like these, concerning which I warn you beforehand, just as I warned you before, that those who practice such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of Elohim.
22
But the fruit of Ruach is love, joy, shalom, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23
gentleness, self-mastery. Against such things there is no Torah.
24
And those who belong to Yahushua the Anointed have executed the flesh with its passions and desires.
25
If we live by Ruach, let us also walk in step with Ruach.
26
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
