1
Shim’on Kepha, a servant and emissary of Yahushua the Anointed, to those who have received a trust equally precious with ours through the Righteousness of our Elohim and Deliverer, Yahushua the Anointed—
2
favor and shalom be multiplied to you through knowledge of Elohim and of Yahushua our Master.
3
His divine power has given to us everything pertaining to life and devotion, through the knowledge of the One who called us by His own glory and excellence.
4
Through these He has given to us the precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may become sharers in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through desire.
5
And for this very reason, bringing every effort, add to your trust moral excellence; and to moral excellence, knowledge;
6
and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, endurance; and to endurance, devotion;
7
and to devotion, brotherly affection; and to brotherly affection, love.
8
For if these things are in you and increasing, they shall keep you from being idle or without fruit in the knowledge of our Master Yahushua the Anointed.
9
For the one in whom these things are not present is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his former sins.
10
Therefore, brothers, be even more diligent to make firm your calling and choosing. For if you do these things, you shall certainly not stumble.
11
For in this way the entrance into the everlasting Kingdom of our Master and Deliverer, Yahushua the Anointed, shall be richly supplied to you.
12
Therefore I shall always be ready to remind you concerning these things, though you know them and have been established in the truth present with you.
13
And I consider it right, as long as I am in this tent, to awaken you through remembrance,
14
knowing that the putting away of my tent is near, just as our Master Yahushua the Anointed made clear to me.
15
And I shall make every effort so that after my departure you may at every time be able to bring these things to remembrance.
16
For we did not follow cleverly constructed tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Master Yahushua the Anointed, but we became eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17
For he received from Elohim the Father honor and glory when such a voice was carried to him from the Majestic Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
18
And we ourselves heard this voice carried from the heavens when we were with him upon the holy mountain.
19
And we have the prophetic Word made even more firm, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20
Know this first: no prophecy of the writing comes from one’s own interpretation.
21
For prophecy was never carried by the will of Adam, but holy Adam spoke from Elohim as they were carried by Holy Ruach.
