1
Therefore, set-apart brothers, sharers in a heavenly calling, consider Yahushua, the emissary and great kohen of our confession,
2
who was faithful to the One who appointed him, just as Mosheh also was faithful in all His House.
3
For this one has been counted worthy of greater glory than Mosheh, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house.
4
For every house is built by someone, but the One who built all things is Elohim.
5
And Mosheh indeed was faithful in all His House as a servant, for a testimony of the things that would later be spoken,
6
but the Anointed as a Son over His House, whose House we are if we hold firmly our boldness and the boasting of hope.
7
Therefore, just as Holy Ruach says: “Today, if you hear His voice,
8
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of testing in the wilderness,
9
where your fathers tested Me by examination and saw My works forty years.
10
Because of this I was angered with that generation and said: ‘They always wander in heart, and they did not know My ways.’
11
So I swore in My wrath: ‘They shall certainly not enter My rest.’”
12
Watch, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in turning away from the living Elohim.
13
But encourage one another each day as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14
For we have become sharers in the Anointed if indeed we hold the beginning of our confidence firm until the end,
15
while it is said: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
16
For who, having heard, rebelled? Was it not all those who came out from Mitsrayim through Mosheh?
17
And with whom was He angered forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18
And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, if not to those who disobeyed?
19
And we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.
