1
Therefore, having been declared righteous from faithfulness, we have peace with Elohim through our Master Yahushua the Mashiyach,
2
through whom we also have obtained access by faithfulness into this favor in which we stand, and we boast in hope of Elohim’s glory.
3
Not only this, but we also boast in pressures, knowing that pressure produces endurance,
4
endurance produces tested character, and tested character produces hope.
5
And hope does not put us to shame, because Elohim’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Set-Apart Spirit given to us.
6
For while we were still weak, at the proper time the Mashiyach died on behalf of the irreverent.
7
For scarcely will someone die on behalf of a righteous person, though perhaps someone might even dare to die on behalf of a good person.
8
But Elohim establishes his own love toward us in that, while we were still sinners, the Mashiyach died on our behalf.
9
Much more, then, having now been declared righteous in his blood, we will be delivered through him from wrath.
10
For if, while enemies, we were reconciled to Elohim through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be delivered by his life.
11
Not only this, but we also boast in Elohim through our Master Yahushua the Mashiyach, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one human being, and death through sin, so death spread to all human beings, because all sinned.
13
For sin was in the world before Torah, but sin is not counted when there is no law.
14
Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam until Mosheh, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression, who is a pattern of the one to come.
15
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the trespass of one, much more did Elohim’s favor and the gift in the favor of the one human being, Yahushua the Mashiyach, overflow to the many.
16
And the gift is not like the result through one who sinned. For judgment from one trespass led to condemnation, but the gift from many trespasses led to a righteous verdict.
17
For if by the trespass of one, death reigned through that one, much more will those receiving the overflow of favor and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Yahushua the Mashiyach.
18
Therefore, as through one trespass condemnation came to all human beings, so also through one righteous act came a righteous verdict leading to life for all human beings.
19
For just as through one human being’s disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the one the many will be constituted righteous.
20
But law entered alongside, so that the trespass might increase; yet where sin increased, favor overflowed beyond measure,
21
so that, just as sin reigned in death, favor also might reign through righteousness into everlasting life through Yahushua the Mashiyach, our Master.
