1
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those in Yahushua the Mashiyach.
2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Yahushua the Mashiyach freed you from the law of sin and death.
3
For what Torah could not do, because it was weakened through flesh, Elohim did: sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in flesh,
4
so that Torah’s righteous requirement might be fulfilled in us who walk not according to flesh but according to Spirit.
5
For those who are according to flesh set their minds on the things of flesh, but those according to Spirit on the things of Spirit.
6
For the mind of flesh is death, but the mind of Spirit is life and peace.
7
Because the mind of flesh is hostile toward Elohim; it does not submit to Elohim’s Torah, nor is it able.
8
Those who are in flesh are not able to please Elohim.
9
But you are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed Elohim’s Spirit dwells in you. If anyone does not have the Mashiyach’s Spirit, that one does not belong to him.
10
But if the Mashiyach is in you, the body is dead because of sin, yet the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11
And if the Spirit of the one who raised Yahushua from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised the Mashiyach from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit dwelling in you.
12
Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are debtors—not to flesh, to live according to flesh.
13
For if you live according to flesh, you are about to die; but if by Spirit you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.
14
For all who are led by Elohim’s Spirit—these are Elohim’s sons and daughters.
15
For you did not receive a spirit of enslavement again for fear, but you received a Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”
16
The Spirit himself bears joint witness with our spirit that we are Elohim’s children.
17
And if children, then heirs—heirs of Elohim and joint heirs with the Mashiyach, if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.
18
For I calculate that the sufferings of the present appointed time are not worthy to be compared with the glory about to be revealed toward us.
19
For creation’s eager expectation awaits the revelation of Elohim’s sons and daughters.
20
For creation was subjected to emptiness—not willingly, but because of the one who subjected it—in hope
21
that creation itself will also be freed from the enslavement of corruption into the freedom of the glory of Elohim’s children.
22
For we know that the whole creation groans together and suffers labor-pains together until now.
23
Not only creation, but we ourselves who have the firstfruits of the Spirit also groan within ourselves, awaiting adoption: the redemption of our body.
24
For in hope we were delivered. But hope that is seen is not hope, for who hopes for what one sees?
25
But if we hope for what we do not see, we await it through endurance.
26
Likewise, the Spirit also assists our weakness. For we do not know what we should pray as required, but the Spirit himself intercedes with groanings that cannot be spoken.
27
And the one searching hearts knows the Spirit’s mind, because according to Elohim he intercedes for the set-apart ones.
28
We know that for those who love Elohim, all things work together for good—for those called according to purpose.
29
Because those he knew beforehand, he also marked out beforehand to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
30
And those he marked out beforehand, he also called; those he called, he also declared righteous; and those he declared righteous, he also glorified.
31
What, then, shall we say concerning these things? If Elohim is for us, who is against us?
32
He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over on behalf of us all, how will he not also freely give us all things with him?
33
Who will bring an accusation against Elohim’s chosen ones? Elohim is the one declaring righteous.
34
Who is the one condemning? Yahushua the Mashiyach is the one who died—more than that, was raised—who is at Elohim’s right hand and also intercedes for us.
35
Who will separate us from the Mashiyach’s love? Pressure, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword?
36
As it is written: “For your sake we are put to death all day long; we were counted as sheep for slaughter.”
37
But in all these things we prevail beyond measure through the one who loved us.
38
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither messengers nor rulers, neither present things nor things to come, nor powers,
39
neither height nor depth nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from Elohim’s love in Yahushua the Mashiyach, our Master.
