1
Does any one of you, having a matter against another, dare to be judged before the unrighteous rather than before the set-apart ones?
2
Or do you not know that the set-apart ones shall judge the world? And if the world is judged through you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3
Do you not know that we shall judge messengers? How much more the matters of ordinary life?
4
Therefore if you have judgments concerning ordinary life, do you appoint those regarded as nothing in the assembly as judges?
5
I say this to your shame. Is there not even one wise person among you who is able to decide between his brothers?
6
But brother goes to judgment against brother, and this before unbelievers.
7
Already, then, it is entirely a defeat for you that you have lawsuits against one another. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
8
But you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and this to brothers.
9
Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of Elohim? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor males who exploit themselves sexually, nor males who sexually exploit other males,
10
nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor abusers, nor robbers shall inherit the Kingdom of Elohim.
11
And such were some of you. But you were washed. But you were set apart. But you were made righteous in the Name of the Master Yahushua the Anointed and by the Ruach of our Elohim.
12
“All things are permitted for me”— but not all things are beneficial. “All things are permitted for me”— but I shall not be mastered by anything.
13
“Food for the belly, and the belly for food”— yet Elohim shall bring both this and these to an end. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Master, and the Master for the body.
14
And Elohim raised the Master and shall also raise us through His power.
15
Do you not know that your bodies are members of the Anointed? Shall I therefore take the members of the Anointed and make them members of a prostitute? Certainly not.
16
Or do you not know that the one joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For: “The two shall become one flesh.”
17
But the one joined to the Master is one ruach with him.
18
Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin an Adam does is outside the body, but the one committing sexual immorality sins against his own body.
19
Or do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of Holy Ruach within you, whom you have from Elohim, and that you are not your own?
20
For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify Elohim in your body.
