1
Barnabas returns directly to the covenant.
2
He says Yahuah truly gave the covenant promised to the fathers, but argues that the wilderness generation proved unworthy to receive it because of sin.
3
He recounts Mosheh fasting on Sinai and receiving the two tablets written by the finger of Yahuah.
4
When the calf was made, Mosheh cast the tablets down and they were broken.
5
He says Mosheh received the covenant, but the rebellious generation did not receive it in faithfulness.
6
He then interprets prophetic promises of circumcised hearts, opened ears, and a new heart as the covenant being received inwardly.
7
He connects Yeshayahu's servant and light-to-the-nations language with Yahushua and with the gathering of the nations.
8
He concludes that the community receives covenant knowledge through the One whom Barnabas calls the beloved servant/son.
