11
You rescue from sword and sustain through famine.
12
You heal sickness and protect from the destructive tongue.
13
You made Adam as a rational creature and gave the capacities of body and soul.
14
You gave sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, movement, speech, understanding, and memory.
15
You made the human soul for life and gave Torah to cleanse and educate the rational creature.
16
You permit temporary dissolution but promise resurrection.
17
You called us away from the worship of many gods and from ignorance that wanders without truth.
18
You made us when we did not exist, preserve us after we came into being, measure our life, provide food, and open the possibility of turning.
19
For all these things, glory and reverence belong to You.
