1
And Shəlomah built his own House thirteen years, and he completed all his House.
2
And he built the House of the Forest of Levanon. Its length was one hundred cubits, and its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
3
And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams that were upon forty-five pillars, fifteen in a row.
4
And there were three rows of window frames, and window was opposite window three times.
5
And all the entrances and doorposts were squared with the frame, and window was opposite window three times.
6
And he made the Porch of Pillars: fifty cubits in length and thirty cubits in width; and a porch was before them, with pillars and a covering before them.
7
And he made the Porch of the Throne, where he would judge, the Porch of Judgment. And it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.
8
And his House, where he dwelt, had another court within the porch, of like workmanship. And Shəlomah made a house like this porch for the daughter of Pharaoh, whom he had taken as ishah.
9
All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewn stones, sawn with saws within and without, from the foundation to the coping, and from the outside as far as the great court.
10
And the foundation was of costly stones, great stones: stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.
11
And above were costly stones, according to the measures of hewn stone, and cedar.
12
And the great court all around had three rows of hewn stone and one row of cedar beams, and likewise the inner court of the House of Yahuah and the porch of the House.
13
And King Shəlomah sent and took Chiram from Tzor.
14
He was son of a widow from the tribe of Naftali, and his father was an ish of Tzor, a craftsman in bronze. And he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge to do every work in bronze. And he came to King Shəlomah and did all his work.
15
And he formed the two pillars of bronze. Eighteen cubits was the height of one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits surrounded the second pillar.
16
And he made two capitals of cast bronze, to set upon the heads of the pillars. Five cubits was the height of the one capital, and five cubits was the height of the second capital.
17
Nets of latticework and twisted cords of chainwork were for the capitals that were upon the heads of the pillars: seven for the one capital and seven for the second capital.
18
And he made the pillars, and two rows all around upon the one network, to cover the capitals that were upon the top with pomegranates; and so he did for the second capital.
19
And the capitals that were upon the heads of the pillars in the porch were of lily-work, four cubits.
20
And the capitals were upon the two pillars, also above, beside the rounded projection that was beyond the network. And there were two hundred pomegranates in rows all around upon the second capital.
21
And he raised up the pillars for the porch of the Temple. And he raised up the right pillar and called its name Yakhin. And he raised up the left pillar and called its name Boaz.
22
And upon the heads of the pillars was lily-work. And the work of the pillars was completed.
23
And he made the cast sea, ten cubits from brim to brim, circular all around. Its height was five cubits, and a cord of thirty cubits surrounded it all around.
24
And gourds were beneath its brim all around, surrounding it, ten to a cubit, encircling the sea all around. The gourds were in two rows, cast in one piece with it.
25
It stood upon twelve oxen: three facing north, and three facing toward the sea, and three facing south, and three facing toward the sunrise. And the sea was above upon them, and all their hindquarters were inward.
26
And its thickness was a handbreadth, and its brim was made like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It contained two thousand bat.
27
And he made ten stands of bronze. Four cubits was the length of each stand, and four cubits its width, and three cubits its height.
28
And this was the workmanship of the stands: they had panels, and the panels were between the frames.
29
And upon the panels that were between the frames were lions, oxen, and keruvim. And upon the frames there was a pedestal above. And beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
30
And each stand had four bronze wheels with bronze axles. And its four feet had supports beneath the basin, with the supports cast at the side of each wreath.
31
And its opening within the capital and above was one cubit. And its opening was round, like the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half. And also upon its opening were carvings, and their panels were square, not round.
32
And the four wheels were beneath the panels, and the axles of the wheels were in the stand. And the height of each wheel was one cubit and half a cubit.
33
And the workmanship of the wheels was like the workmanship of a chariot wheel. Their axles, and their rims, and their spokes, and their hubs—all were cast.
34
And there were four supports at the four corners of each stand. Its supports were from the stand itself.
35
And upon the top of the stand was a circular rim half a cubit high. And upon the top of the stand its supports and its panels were from itself.
36
And he engraved upon the plates of its supports and upon its panels keruvim, lions, and palm trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths all around.
37
According to this manner he made the ten stands. All of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.
38
And he made ten basins of bronze. Each basin contained forty bat, and each basin was four cubits. One basin was upon each of the ten stands.
39
And he placed five of the stands upon the right side of the House, and five upon the left side of the House. And the sea he placed upon the right side of the House, eastward, toward the south.
40
And Chiram made the basins, and the shovels, and the bowls. And Chiram finished doing all the work that he did for King Shəlomah for the House of Yahuah:
41
the two pillars, and the bowls of the capitals that were upon the heads of the two pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the heads of the pillars;
42
and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the face of the pillars;
43
and the ten stands, and the ten basins upon the stands;
44
and the one sea, and the twelve oxen beneath the sea;
45
and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls. And all these vessels that Chiram made for King Shəlomah for the House of Yahuah were of polished bronze.
46
In the plain of the Yarden the king cast them, in the clay ground between Sukkot and Tzaretan.
47
And Shəlomah left all the vessels unweighed because of their exceedingly great abundance; the weight of the bronze was not investigated.
48
And Shəlomah made all the vessels that belonged to the House of Yahuah: the altar of gold; and the table of gold upon which was the bread of the Presence;
49
and the menorot—five on the right and five on the left before the face of the Inner Sanctuary, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
50
and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the firepans, of pure gold; and the hinges of gold for the doors of the inner House, for the Most Holy Place, and for the doors of the House, for the Temple.
51
And all the work that King Shəlomah did for the House of Yahuah was completed. And Shəlomah brought in the things set apart by Daviyd his father—the silver, and the gold, and the vessels—and placed them among the treasuries of the House of Yahuah.
