These were the sons of Daviyd who were born to him in Chevron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Achinoam the Yizre’elit; the second, Daniyel, by Avigayil the Karmelit;

the third, Avshalom son of Maakha daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adoniyah son of Chaggit;

the fifth, Shefatyah, by Avital; the sixth, Yitre’am, by Eglah his ishah.

Six were born to him in Chevron, where he reigned seven years and six new moons; and he reigned thirty-three years in Yerushalayim.

These were born to him in Yerushalayim: Shimea, Shovav, Natan, and Shəlomah—four by Bat-Shua daughter of Ammiel;

then Yivchar, Elishama, and Elifelet;

Nogah, Nefeg, and Yafia;
8
Elishama, Elyada, and Elifelet—nine.

All these were sons of Daviyd, besides the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

The son of Shəlomah was Rechavam; Aviyah his son, Asa his son, Yehoshafat his son,

Yoram his son, Achazyahu his son, Yoash his son,

Amatzyahu his son, Azaryah his son, Yotam his son,
13
Achaz his son, Chizqiyahu his son, Menasheh his son,
14
Amon his son, Yoshiyahu his son.

The sons of Yoshiyahu: Yochanan the firstborn, Yehoyaqim the second, Tzidqiyahu the third, Shallum the fourth.

The sons of Yehoyaqim: Yekhonyah his son, Tzidqiyah his son.

The sons of Yekhonyah the captive: She’alti’el his son,

Malkiram, Pedayah, Shenatzar, Yeqamyah, Hoshama, and Nedavyah.

The sons of Pedayah: Zerubbavel and Shimi. The sons of Zerubbavel: Meshullam and Chananyah; and Shelomit was their sister;

and Chashuvah, Ohel, Berekhiyah, Chasadyah, and Yushav-Chesed—five.

The sons of Chananyah: Pelatyah and Yeshayah; the sons of Refayah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Ovadyah, and the sons of Shekhanyah.

The son of Shekhanyah: Shemayah. The sons of Shemayah: Chattush, Yigal, Bariach, Nearyah, and Shafat—six.

The sons of Nearyah: Elyoenai, Chizqiyah, and Azriqam—three.

The sons of Elyoenai: Hodayvahu, Elyashiv, Pelayah, Aqquv, Yochanan, Delayah, and Anani—seven.
