Daviyd assembled at Yerushalayim all the commanders of Yisra’el: commanders of the tribes, commanders of the divisions ministering to the king, commanders of thousands and hundreds, commanders of all the possessions and livestock belonging to the king and his sons, together with the court officials, the mighty ones, and every mighty one of strength.

King Daviyd rose upon his feet and said, “Hear me, my brothers and my people. It was with my heart to build a House of rest for the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah and for the footstool of our Elohim, and I prepared to build.
3
But the Elohim said to me, ‘You shall not build a House for My name, for you are an ish of wars and have poured out blood.’
4
Yet Yahuah, Elohim of Yisra’el, chose me from all my father’s house to become king over Yisra’el unto the age. For He chose Yehudah as ruler, and in the house of Yehudah my father’s house, and among the sons of my father He delighted in me to make me king over all Yisra’el.
5
And from all my sons—for Yahuah has given me many sons—He chose Shəlomah my son to sit upon the throne of the reign of Yahuah over Yisra’el.
6
He said to me, ‘Shəlomah your son—he shall build My House and My courts, for I have chosen him for Myself as a son, and I shall become a Father to him.
7
I shall establish his reign unto the age, if he strengthens himself to do My commands and My right-rulings, as at this day.’
8
And now, before the eyes of all Yisra’el, the assembly of Yahuah, and in the hearing of our Elohim: guard and seek all the commands of Yahuah your Elohim, so that you may possess the good land and cause your sons after you to inherit it unto the age.
9
And you, Shəlomah my son, know the Elohim of your father and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing being, for Yahuah searches all hearts and understands every formation of thoughts. If you seek Him, He shall be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He shall reject you perpetually.
10
See now, for Yahuah has chosen you to build a House for the Miqdash. Be strong and do.”

Daviyd gave Shəlomah his son the pattern of the porch, its houses, its treasuries, its upper rooms, its inner chambers, and the House of the Covering;
12
and the pattern of all that was with him by the Ruach: for the courts of the House of Yahuah, all the surrounding chambers, the treasuries of the House of the Elohim, and the treasuries of the set-apart gifts;
13
for the divisions of the Kohenim and Leviyim, every work of the service of the House of Yahuah, and every vessel of service in the House of Yahuah;
14
gold by weight for the gold, for all vessels of each service; and all vessels of silver by weight, for all vessels of each service;
15
the weight for the gold lampstands and their gold lamps, by weight for each lampstand and its lamps; and for the silver lampstands, by weight for each lampstand and its lamps, according to the service of each lampstand;
16
the gold by weight for the tables of the arrangement, for each table, and silver for the silver tables;
17
pure gold for the forks, basins, and jars; for the gold bowls, by weight for each bowl; and for the silver bowls, by weight for each bowl;
18
and refined gold by weight for the altar of incense; and gold for the pattern of the chariot—the Keruvim spreading out and covering over the Ark of the Covenant of Yahuah.

“All this in writing, from the hand of Yahuah upon me, gave understanding—all the works of the pattern.”
20
Daviyd said to Shəlomah his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do. Do not fear and do not be shattered, for Yahuah Elohim, my Elohim, is with you. He shall not slacken you or forsake you until all the work of the service of the House of Yahuah is finished.

See, the divisions of the Kohenim and the Leviyim are for every service of the House of the Elohim. With you in every work is every willing one having wisdom for every service; and the commanders and all the people are ready for all your words.”
