1
Do not depend upon your wealth, and do not say, “It is sufficient for me.”
2
Do not follow your own being and your own strength by walking in the desires of your heart.
3
Do not say, “Who shall exercise power over me?” For Yahuah shall surely execute Judgment.
4
Do not say, “I sinned, and what happened to me?” For Yahuah is slow to anger.
5
Do not become fearless concerning covering and so add sin upon sin.
6
Do not say, “His compassion is abundant; He shall make covering for the multitude of my sins.” For mercy and wrath are with Him, and His anger rests upon sinners.
7
Do not wait to return to Yahuah, and do not postpone from day to day. For suddenly the wrath of Yahuah shall come forth, and in the time of Judgment you shall be destroyed.
8
Do not depend upon unrighteous wealth, for it shall not profit you in the day of calamity.
9
Do not winnow in every wind, and do not walk upon every path; such is the double-tongued sinner.
10
Be established in your understanding, and let your word be one.
11
Be swift in hearing, but speak your answer with patience.
12
If you possess understanding, answer your companion; but if not, let your hand be over your mouth.
13
Honor and dishonor are in speech, and the tongue of an Adam becomes his fall.
14
Do not be called a whisperer, and do not lie in wait with your tongue. Shame is upon the thief, and evil condemnation upon the double-tongued.
15
In great and small matters, do not act without knowledge.
