1
Do not desire a multitude of useless children, and do not rejoice in profane sons.
2
If they multiply, do not rejoice over them unless reverence of Yahuah is with them.
3
Do not trust in their life, and do not rely upon their number; for one is better than a thousand, and it is better to die childless than to have profane children.
4
Through one who understands, a city shall be inhabited, but a clan of lawless ones shall become desolate.
5
My eye has seen many such things, and my ear has heard things stronger than these.
6
In the assembly of sinners a fire shall be kindled, and wrath has burned within a disobedient nation.
7
He did not grant atonement to the ancient giants who rebelled in their strength.
8
He did not spare the dwelling-place of Lot, whom He abhorred because of their pride.
9
He did not show favor to a nation marked for destruction, to those lifted up within their sins.
10
So also were the six hundred thousand footmen gathered together in the hardness of their hearts.
11
Even if there were only one stiff-necked ish, it would be astonishing if he escaped unpunished; for compassion and wrath are with Him, mighty to forgive and to pour out wrath.
12
As abundant as His compassion, so abundant is His correction; He judges an ish according to his works.
13
The sinner shall not escape with plunder, and the endurance of the reverent shall not be delayed.
14
He shall make room for every act of righteous giving; each shall find according to his works.
15
Yahuah hardened Pharaoh so that he did not know Him, that His mighty works might be known beneath the heavens.
16
His compassion is manifest to all creation, and He divided His light and His darkness for Adam.
17
Do not say, “I shall be hidden from Yahuah; who from the height shall remember me? Among a vast people I shall not be known; for what is my being within immeasurable creation?”
18
Behold, the heavens and the heaven of heavens, the deep and the earth, are shaken at His visitation.
19
Together the mountains and the foundations of the earth tremble when He looks upon them.
20
Yet no heart considers these things; and who comprehends His Ways?
21
A storm also is unseen by Adam, and most of His works are hidden.
22
Who shall announce the works of righteousness? Who shall endure them? For the Covenant is far-reaching.
23
One diminished in heart considers these things falsely, and a foolish, wandering ish thinks foolish thoughts.
24
Hear me, my son, and learn knowledge; attend to my Words with your heart.
25
I shall reveal instruction by weight and declare knowledge with precision.
26
By the Right-Ruling of Yahuah His works were ordered from the beginning, and from their making He apportioned their domains.
27
He established His works unto the age, and their beginnings for their generations. They neither hunger nor grow weary, and they do not cease from their appointed works.
28
None presses against its neighbor, and unto the age they shall not disobey His Word.
29
After these things Yahuah looked upon the earth and filled it with His good things.
30
With the life of every creature He covered its face, and to it they return.
