1
Yahuah, Father and Master of my life, do not abandon me to their counsel; do not let me fall through them.
2
Who shall appoint lashes over my thought and the instruction of Wisdom over my heart, that they may not spare my errors and my sins may not pass uncorrected?
3
Lest my errors multiply and my sins increase, and I fall before my adversaries and my enemy rejoice over me.
4
Yahuah, Father and Elohim of my life, do not give me haughty eyes.
5
Turn desire away from me.
6
Do not let the appetite of the belly or sexual joining seize me; do not deliver me to a shameless being.
7
Hear instruction concerning the mouth, children; one who guards it shall not be captured.
8
A sinner is captured by his own lips; the abusive and the proud stumble through them.
9
Do not train your mouth in swearing, and do not become accustomed to naming the Set-Apart One.
10
For as a servant continually examined does not lack bruises, so one continually swearing and naming shall not be cleansed from sin.
11
An ish of many oaths is filled with lawlessness, and the lash does not depart from his house. If he transgresses, his sin is upon him; if he disregards it, he sins twice. If he swears without cause, he shall not be declared right, for his house shall be filled with visitations.
12
There is a manner of speech clothed with death; let it not be found in the inheritance of Yaaqov. For all such things remain far from the reverent, and they do not wallow in sins.
13
Do not accustom your mouth to coarse lack of instruction, for within it is a word of sin.
14
Remember your father and your mother when you sit among great ones, lest you forget yourself before them and become foolish through your habit, wishing you had not been born and cursing the day of your birth.
15
An Adam accustomed to words of reproach shall not be instructed all the days of his life.
16
Two kinds multiply sins, and a third brings wrath.
17
A heated being is like burning fire; it is not extinguished until it consumes. A sexually corrupt Adam within his fleshly body does not cease until he has kindled a fire. To a sexually corrupt Adam every bread is sweet; he does not rest until he reaches completion.
18
An Adam who transgresses from his own bed says within his being, “Who sees me? Darkness surrounds me, the walls cover me, and no one sees me. What have I to fear? El Elyon shall not remember my sins.”
19
His fear is only the eyes of Adam; he does not know that the eyes of Yahuah are ten thousand times brighter than the sun, beholding all the Ways of Adam and examining hidden places.
20
Before all things were created, they were known to Him; so also after their completion.
21
This one shall be punished in the streets of the city, and where he did not suppose it, he shall be seized.
22
So also an ishah who leaves her husband and presents him an heir from a stranger.
23
First, she disobeyed the Torah of El Elyon; second, she transgressed against her husband; and third, she committed adultery through sexual corruption and presented children by a foreign ish.
24
She shall be brought out into the assembly, and visitation shall come upon her children.
25
Her children shall not spread into a root, and her branches shall not bear fruit.
26
She shall leave her remembrance as a curse, and her reproach shall not be wiped away.
27
Those who remain shall know that nothing is better than reverence of Yahuah, and nothing sweeter than attending to the Commands of Yahuah.
