1
Honor a physician according to your need with the honors due him, for Yahuah also created him.
2
Healing is from El Elyon, and from a king the physician receives a gift.
3
The knowledge of a physician raises his head, and before great ones he is admired.
4
Yahuah created remedies from the earth, and a discerning ish does not reject them.
5
Was not water made sweet by wood so that His strength might be known?
6
He gave knowledge to sons of Adam that He might be esteemed through His wonders.
7
Through them the physician heals and removes pain, and through them the perfumer makes a compound.
8
His works shall not reach an end, and shalom from Him is upon the face of the earth.
9
My son, do not neglect yourself in sickness; make prayer to Yahuah, and He shall heal you.
10
Put transgression away, straighten your hands, and cleanse your heart from every sin.
11
Give a sweet aroma and a remembrance of fine flour; enrich an offering as though you were no longer present.
12
Give the physician a place, for Yahuah created him; do not let him depart from you, for there is need of him.
13
There is an appointed time when prosperity is also in their hands.
14
For they too make supplication to Yahuah, that He prosper rest and healing through them for the sake of preserving life.
15
Let one sinning before the One who made him fall into the hands of a physician.
16
My son, bring down tears over the dead, and as one suffering terribly begin lamentation. Enwrap his body according to his right, and do not neglect his burial.
17
Make weeping bitter and mourning fervent; observe grief according to his worth, a day or two to avoid reproach, and then be strengthened from grief.
18
For death proceeds from grief, and grief of heart bends strength.
19
Grief remains through affliction, and the life of the poor is against the heart.
20
Do not give your heart to grief; remove it, remembering the last things.
21
Do not forget: there is no return. You shall not profit him, and you shall harm yourself.
22
Remember my Judgment, for yours is also so: for me yesterday, and for you today.
23
When the dead has rested, let his remembrance rest; be strengthened concerning him when his ruach has gone out.
24
The Wisdom of a scribe comes through the opportunity of leisure, and one diminished in business shall become wise.
25

29
So the potter sits at his work and turns the wheel with his feet; he is continually anxious concerning his work, and all his workmanship is by number.
30
With his arm he shapes the clay and bends its strength before his feet. He gives his heart to completing the glazing, and his wakefulness is to clean the furnace.
31
All these trust in their hands, and each is wise within his work.
32
Without them a city cannot be inhabited, nor can people lodge or walk within it.
33
Yet they are not sought for the counsel of the people, nor do they rise high in the assembly. They do not sit upon the judge’s seat or understand a covenant of Judgment.
34
They do not make instruction and Right-Ruling manifest and are not found among proverbs; yet they establish the creation of the age, and their supplication concerns the work of their craft.
