Esav took his women from the daughters of Kena’an: Adah daughter of Elon the Chitti, Oholivamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Tzivon the Chivvi,

and Basemat daughter of Yishma’el, sister of Nevayot.

And Adah brought forth Elifaz to Esav, and Basemat brought forth Reuel.

And Oholivamah brought forth Yeush, Yaalam, and Qorach. These are the sons of Esav who were born to him in the land of Kena’an.

And Esav took his women, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his livestock, and all his animals, and all his possessions that he had acquired in the land of Kena’an, and went to a land away from the face of Yaaqov his brother.

For their possessions were too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their sojournings was not able to bear them because of their livestock.

And Esav dwelt in the mountain of Seir. Esav is Edom.

And these are the generations of Esav, father of Edom in the mountain of Seir.

These are the names of the sons of Esav: Elifaz son of Adah, the ishah of Esav; Reuel son of Basemat, the ishah of Esav.

And the sons of Elifaz were Teman, Omar, Tzefo, Gatam, and Qenaz.

And Timna was concubine to Elifaz son of Esav, and she brought forth Amaleq to Elifaz. These are the sons of Adah, the ishah of Esav.

And these are the sons of Reuel: Nachat, Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemat, the ishah of Esav.

And these were the sons of Oholivamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Tzivon, the ishah of Esav: she brought forth to Esav Yeush, Yaalam, and Qorach.

These are the chiefs of the sons of Esav. The sons of Elifaz, firstborn of Esav: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Tzefo, chief Qenaz,

chief Qorach, chief Gatam, chief Amaleq. These are the chiefs of Elifaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.

And these are the sons of Reuel son of Esav: chief Nachat, chief Zerach, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah. These are the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemat, the ishah of Esav.

And these are the sons of Oholivamah, the ishah of Esav: chief Yeush, chief Yaalam, chief Qorach. These are the chiefs of Oholivamah daughter of Anah, the ishah of Esav.

These are the sons of Esav, and these are their chiefs. He is Edom.

These are the sons of Seir the Chori, inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shoval, Tzivon, Anah,

Dishon, Etzer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Chori, sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.

And the sons of Lotan were Chori and Hemam, and the sister of Lotan was Timna.

And these are the sons of Shoval: Alvan, Manachat, Eval, Shefo, and Onam.

And Baal-Chanan son of Akhbor died, and Hadar reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pau. And the name of his ishah was Mehetavel daughter of Matred, daughter of Mei-Zahav.

And these are the names of the chiefs of Esav, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Yetet,

chief Qenaz, chief Teman, chief Mivtzar,

chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom according to their dwellings in the land of their possession. This is Esav, father of Edom.
