1
“And this is the matter that you shall do to them, to set them apart to serve Me as kohenim: take one young bull, and two rams, whole,
2
and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil. Of fine wheat flour you shall make them.
3
And you shall place them in one basket and bring them near in the basket, with the bull and the two rams.
4
And Aharon and his sons you shall bring near to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and you shall wash them with water.
5
And you shall take the garments and clothe Aharon with the tunic, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastpiece, and bind the ephod upon him with its skillfully woven band.
6
And you shall set the turban upon his head and place the holy crown upon the turban.
7
And you shall take the anointing oil and pour it upon his head and anoint him.
8
And you shall bring his sons near and clothe them with tunics.
9
And you shall gird them with sashes, Aharon and his sons, and bind head coverings upon them. And the kehunah shall be theirs as an everlasting statute. And you shall fill the hand of Aharon and the hand of his sons.
10
And you shall bring the bull near before the Tent of Meeting, and Aharon and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bull.
11
And you shall slaughter the bull before Yahuah, at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
12
And you shall take from the blood of the bull and place it upon the horns of the altar with your finger, and all the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar.
13
And you shall take all the fat that covers the inward parts, and the lobe upon the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
14
But the flesh of the bull, and its skin, and its dung, you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
15
And you shall take the one ram, and Aharon and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.
16
And you shall slaughter the ram, and take its blood and throw it against the altar all around.
17
And you shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its inward parts and its legs, and place them with its pieces and with its head.
18
And you shall burn the whole ram upon the altar. It is an ascending offering to Yahuah, a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahuah.
19
And you shall take the second ram, and Aharon and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram.
20
And you shall slaughter the ram and take from its blood and place it upon the lobe of the right ear of Aharon, and upon the lobe of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot. And you shall throw the blood against the altar all around.
21
And you shall take from the blood that is upon the altar and from the anointing oil and sprinkle it upon Aharon and upon his garments, and upon his sons and upon the garments of his sons with him. And he shall be holy, he and his garments, and his sons and the garments of his sons with him.
22
And you shall take from the ram the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat that covers the inward parts, and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and the right thigh—for it is a ram of filling the hand—
23
and one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread that is before Yahuah.
24
And you shall place all these upon the palms of Aharon and upon the palms of his sons, and you shall wave them as a wave offering before Yahuah.
25
And you shall take them from their hands and burn them upon the altar upon the ascending offering, as a pleasing aroma before Yahuah. It is an offering by fire to Yahuah.
26
And you shall take the breast from the ram of filling the hand that is for Aharon and wave it as a wave offering before Yahuah, and it shall be your portion.
27
And you shall set apart the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution that was waved and that was lifted up from the ram of filling the hand, from that which is for Aharon and from that which is for his sons.
28
And it shall be for Aharon and for his sons as an everlasting statute from the sons of Yisra’el, for it is a contribution. And it shall be a contribution from the sons of Yisra’el from their peace offerings, their contribution to Yahuah.
29
And the holy garments that belong to Aharon shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them and to fill their hands in them.
30
Seven days shall the son who serves as kohen in his place wear them, when he enters the Tent of Meeting to serve in the Holy Place.
31
And you shall take the ram of filling the hand and boil its flesh in a holy place.
32
And Aharon and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
33
And they shall eat those things by which atonement was made, to fill their hands, to set them apart. But a stranger shall not eat of them, because they are holy.
34
And if any of the flesh of filling the hand or of the bread remains until morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire. It shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
35
And thus you shall do to Aharon and to his sons, according to all that I commanded you. Seven days you shall fill their hands.
36
And each day you shall prepare a bull as a sin offering for atonement. And you shall purify the altar by making atonement upon it, and you shall anoint it to set it apart.
37
Seven days you shall make atonement upon the altar and set it apart. And the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall be holy.
38
And this is what you shall prepare upon the altar: two lambs, sons of a year, day by day continually.
39
The one lamb you shall prepare in the morning, and the second lamb you shall prepare between the evenings.
40
And with the one lamb, one-tenth of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering.
41
And the second lamb you shall prepare between the evenings. According to the grain offering of the morning and according to its drink offering, you shall prepare it, as a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahuah.
42
It shall be a continual ascending offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting before Yahuah, where I will meet with you there, to speak with you there.
43
And there I will meet with the sons of Yisra’el, and it shall be set apart by My glory.
44
And I will set apart the Tent of Meeting and the altar. And Aharon and his sons I will set apart to serve Me as kohenim.
45
And I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Yisra’el, and I will be their Elohim.
46
And they shall know that I am Yahuah their Elohim, who brought them out from the land of Mitzrayim, that I might dwell in their midst. I am Yahuah their Elohim.
