1
And Betzalel and Oholiav, and every wise-hearted ish in whom Yahuah had placed wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work of the service of the Holy Place, did according to all that Yahuah had commanded.
2
And Mosheh called Betzalel and Oholiav and every wise-hearted ish in whose heart Yahuah had placed wisdom, everyone whose heart lifted him up to draw near to the work to do it.
3
And they took from before Mosheh all the offering that the sons of Yisra’el had brought for the work of the service of the Holy Place, to make it. And they still brought to him willing offerings morning by morning.
4
And all the wise men who were doing all the work of the Holy Place came, each ish from the work that he was doing,
5
and they spoke to Mosheh, saying, “The people are bringing more than enough for the service of the work that Yahuah commanded to be done.”
6
And Mosheh commanded, and they caused a voice to pass throughout the camp, saying, “Let neither ish nor ishah do any more work for the offering of the Holy Place.” And the people were restrained from bringing.
7
For the material was enough for all the work to do it, and there was more than enough.
8
And all the wise-hearted among those doing the work made the Dwelling with ten curtains of fine twisted linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet thread. With keruvim, the work of a skillful craftsman, he made them.
9
The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of one curtain four cubits. One measure was for all the curtains.
10
And he joined five curtains one to another, and five curtains he joined one to another.
11
And he made loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain at the end of the joined set, and likewise he made them upon the edge of the outer curtain in the second joined set.
12
Fifty loops he made on the one curtain, and fifty loops he made on the edge of the curtain in the second joined set; the loops corresponded one to another.
13
And he made fifty clasps of gold and joined the curtains one to another with the clasps, and the Dwelling became one.
14
And he made curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the Dwelling. Eleven curtains he made.
15
The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and the width of one curtain four cubits. One measure was for the eleven curtains.
16
And he joined five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves.
17
And he made fifty loops upon the edge of the outer curtain in the one joined set, and fifty loops he made upon the edge of the curtain of the second joined set.
18
And he made fifty clasps of bronze to join the tent together, that it might be one.
19
And he made a covering for the tent of ram skins dyed red, and a covering of tachash skins above it.
20
And he made the boards for the Dwelling of acacia wood, standing upright.
21
Ten cubits was the length of one board, and one and a half cubits the width of one board.
22
Two tenons were in each board, joined one to another. Thus he made for all the boards of the Dwelling.
23
And he made the boards for the Dwelling: twenty boards for the south side, toward the south.
24
And forty sockets of silver he made beneath the twenty boards: two sockets beneath one board for its two tenons, and two sockets beneath another board for its two tenons.
25
And for the second side of the Dwelling, on the north side, he made twenty boards,
26
and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets beneath one board and two sockets beneath another board.
27
And for the rear of the Dwelling, toward the west, he made six boards.
28
And two boards he made for the corners of the Dwelling at the rear.
29
And they were doubled beneath, and together they were complete at its top into one ring. Thus he did for both of them, for the two corners.
30
And there were eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets: two sockets beneath each board.
31
And he made bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of one side of the Dwelling,
32
and five bars for the boards of the second side of the Dwelling, and five bars for the boards of the Dwelling at the rear, toward the west.
33
And he made the middle bar to pass through the midst of the boards from end to end.
34
And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold as houses for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
35
And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet thread, and fine twisted linen. With keruvim, the work of a skillful craftsman, he made it.
36
And he made for it four pillars of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold. And he cast for them four sockets of silver.
37
And he made a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet thread, and fine twisted linen, the work of an embroiderer,
38
and its five pillars with their hooks. And he overlaid their tops and their bands with gold, but their five sockets were of bronze.
