1
And from the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet thread they made garments of service, to serve in the Holy Place, and they made the holy garments for Aharon, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
2
And he made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet thread, and fine twisted linen.
3
And they hammered the sheets of gold and cut them into threads, to work them into the blue, and into the purple, and into the scarlet thread, and into the fine linen, the work of a skillful craftsman.
4
They made shoulder pieces for it, joined together. At its two ends it was joined.
5
And the skillfully woven band of his ephod that was upon it was of one piece with it, according to its work: of gold, blue, purple, scarlet thread, and fine twisted linen, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
6
And they prepared the onyx stones, surrounded with settings of gold, engraved like the engravings of a signet according to the names of the sons of Yisra’el.
7
And he placed them upon the shoulder pieces of the ephod as stones of remembrance for the sons of Yisra’el, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
8
And he made the breastpiece, the work of a skillful craftsman, like the work of the ephod: of gold, blue, purple, scarlet thread, and fine twisted linen.
9
Square it was. Doubled they made the breastpiece: a span its length and a span its width, doubled.
10
And they filled it with four rows of stones. A row of odem, pitdah, and bareqet was the first row.
11
And the second row: nofekh, sappir, and yahalom.
12
And the third row: leshem, shevo, and achlamah.
13
And the fourth row: tarshish, shoham, and yashfeh. Surrounded with settings of gold they were in their settings.
14
And the stones were according to the names of the sons of Yisra’el, twelve according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, each according to his name, for the twelve tribes.
15
And they made upon the breastpiece chains at the ends, the work of twisted cords of pure gold.
16
And they made two settings of gold and two rings of gold, and placed the two rings upon the two ends of the breastpiece.
17
And they placed the two cords of gold into the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece.
18
And the two ends of the two cords they fastened to the two settings, and placed them upon the shoulder pieces of the ephod, toward its front.
19
And they made two rings of gold and placed them upon the two ends of the breastpiece, upon its edge that was toward the ephod inward.
20
And they made two more rings of gold and placed them upon the two shoulder pieces of the ephod from below, toward its front, close to its joining, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
21
And they bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, so that it remained above the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and the breastpiece did not move away from the ephod, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
22
And he made the robe of the ephod, the work of a weaver, entirely of blue.
23
And the opening of the robe was in its midst, like the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding around its opening, so that it would not tear.
24
And upon the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet thread, and twisted linen.
25
And they made bells of pure gold and placed the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe all around, between the pomegranates:
26
a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe all around, for serving, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
27
And they made the tunics of fine linen, the work of a weaver, for Aharon and for his sons,
28
and the turban of fine linen, and the beautiful head coverings of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of fine twisted linen,
29
and the sash of fine twisted linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet thread, the work of an embroiderer, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
30
And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold and wrote upon it a writing like the engravings of a signet: Holy to Yahuah.
31
And they placed upon it a cord of blue, to place it upon the turban above, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
32
And all the work of the Dwelling, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. And the sons of Yisra’el did according to all that Yahuah had commanded Mosheh; so they did.
33
And they brought the Dwelling to Mosheh: the tent and all its vessels, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;
34
and the covering of ram skins dyed red, and the covering of tachash skins, and the veil of the screen;
35
the ark of the Testimony and its poles, and the covering of atonement;
36
the table and all its vessels, and the bread of the Presence;
37
the pure menorah, its lamps—the lamps arranged for setting in order—and all its vessels, and the oil for the light;
38
and the altar of gold, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance of the tent;
39
the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles and all its vessels, the basin and its base;
40
the hangings of the courtyard, its pillars and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the courtyard, its cords and its pegs, and all the vessels for the service of the Dwelling, for the Tent of Meeting;
41
the garments of service for serving in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aharon the kohen, and the garments of his sons for serving as kohenim.
42
According to all that Yahuah had commanded Mosheh, so the sons of Yisra’el did all the work.
43
And Mosheh saw all the work, and see: they had done it; according to what Yahuah had commanded, so they had done. And Mosheh blessed them.
