1
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
2
“Speak to the sons of Yisra’el and say to them: When an ish or an ishah makes a special vow, the vow of a nazir, to separate himself to Yahuah,
3
from wine and strong drink he shall separate himself. Vinegar of wine and vinegar of strong drink he shall not drink, and any juice of grapes he shall not drink, and fresh grapes or dried grapes he shall not eat.
4
All the days of his separation, from anything made from the grapevine, from seed even to skin, he shall not eat.
5
All the days of the vow of his separation, no razor shall pass over his head. Until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to Yahuah, he shall be holy. He shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
6
All the days that he separates himself to Yahuah, he shall not come near a dead being.
7
For his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, he shall not make himself unclean when they die, for the consecration of his Elohim is upon his head.
8
All the days of his separation he is holy to Yahuah.
9
And if a dead person dies suddenly beside him, and he makes unclean the head of his separation, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.
10
And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the kohen, to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
11
And the kohen shall prepare one as a sin offering and the other as an ascending offering, and make atonement for him because he sinned concerning the dead. And he shall set apart his head on that day.
12
And he shall separate to Yahuah the days of his separation and bring a male lamb, a son of a year, as a guilt offering. And the former days shall fall away, because his separation became unclean.
13
And this is the Torah of the nazir: on the day the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
14
And he shall bring near his offering to Yahuah: one whole male lamb, a son of a year, as an ascending offering; and one whole female lamb, a daughter of a year, as a sin offering; and one whole ram as a peace offering;
15
and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, with their grain offering and their drink offerings.
16
And the kohen shall bring them near before Yahuah and prepare his sin offering and his ascending offering.
17
And the ram he shall prepare as a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahuah, with the basket of unleavened bread. And the kohen shall prepare its grain offering and its drink offering.
18
And the nazir shall shave the head of his separation at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and take the hair of the head of his separation and place it upon the fire that is beneath the sacrifice of peace offerings.
19
And the kohen shall take the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and place them upon the palms of the nazir after he has shaved his separation.
20
And the kohen shall wave them as a wave offering before Yahuah. It is holy for the kohen, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution. And afterward the nazir may drink wine.
21
This is the Torah of the nazir who vows, and of his offering to Yahuah for his separation, besides whatever else his hand can reach. According to the vow that he vows, so he shall do, according to the Torah of his separation.”
22
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
23
“Speak to Aharon and to his sons, saying: Thus you shall bless the sons of Yisra’el. Say to them:
24
‘May Yahuah bless you and guard you.
25
May Yahuah cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.
26
May Yahuah lift up His face toward you and place peace upon you.’
27
And they shall place My name upon the sons of Yisra’el, and I will bless them.”
