“These are the statutes and the judgments that you shall guard to do in the land that Yahuah, Elohim of your fathers, has given you to possess, all the days that you live upon the earth.
2
Destroying, you shall surely destroy all the places where the nations whom you are dispossessing served their elohim, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree.
3
And you shall tear down their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their Asherim with fire, and cut down the carved images of their elohim, and destroy their name from that place.
4
You shall not do so to Yahuah your Elohim.
5
But to the place that Yahuah your Elohim chooses from all your tribes to place His name there, for His dwelling, you shall seek, and there you shall come.
6
And there you shall bring your ascending offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tenths, and the contribution of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.
7
And there you shall eat before Yahuah your Elohim, and rejoice in all to which you put your hand, you and your households, in which Yahuah your Elohim has blessed you.
8
You shall not do according to all that we are doing here today, each ish whatever is right in his own eyes.
9
For you have not yet come to the resting place and to the inheritance that Yahuah your Elohim is giving you.
10
But you shall cross the Yarden and dwell in the land that Yahuah your Elohim is causing you to inherit, and He will give you rest from all your enemies around you, and you shall dwell securely.
11
And it shall be that the place Yahuah your Elohim chooses to cause His name to dwell there—there you shall bring all that I command you: your ascending offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tenths, and the contribution of your hand, and all the choice of your vows that you vow to Yahuah.
12
And you shall rejoice before Yahuah your Elohim—you, and your sons, and your daughters, and your male servants, and your female servants, and the Levi who is within your gates, for he has no portion or inheritance with you.
13
Guard yourself, lest you cause your ascending offerings to go up in every place that you see.
14
But in the place that Yahuah chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall cause your ascending offerings to go up, and there you shall do all that I command you.
15
Nevertheless, according to all the desire of your being you may slaughter and eat flesh within all your gates, according to the blessing of Yahuah your Elohim that He has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat it, as the gazelle and as the deer.
16
Only the blood you shall not eat. Upon the earth you shall pour it out like water.
17
You may not eat within your gates the tenth of your grain, or your new wine, or your oil, or the firstborn of your herd and of your flock, or any of your vows that you vow, or your freewill offerings, or the contribution of your hand.
18
But before Yahuah your Elohim you shall eat them, in the place that Yahuah your Elohim chooses—you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levi who is within your gates—and you shall rejoice before Yahuah your Elohim in all to which you put your hand.
19
Guard yourself, lest you forsake the Levi all your days upon your land.
20
When Yahuah your Elohim enlarges your border, according to what He spoke to you, and you say, ‘I will eat flesh,’ because your being desires to eat flesh, according to all the desire of your being you may eat flesh.
21
If the place that Yahuah your Elohim chooses to place His name there is too far from you, then you may slaughter from your herd and from your flock that Yahuah has given you, according to what I commanded you, and you may eat within your gates according to all the desire of your being.
22
Even as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so you may eat it. The unclean and the clean alike may eat it.
23
Only strengthen yourself not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.
24
You shall not eat it. Upon the earth you shall pour it out like water.
25
You shall not eat it, so that it may be good for you and for your sons after you, when you do what is right in the eyes of Yahuah.
26
Only your holy things that are yours, and your vows, you shall take and go to the place that Yahuah chooses.
27
And you shall prepare your ascending offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of Yahuah your Elohim. And the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of Yahuah your Elohim, and the flesh you shall eat.
28
Guard and hear all these words that I command you, so that it may be good for you and for your sons after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the eyes of Yahuah your Elohim.
29
When Yahuah your Elohim cuts off from before your face the nations whom you are going there to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
30
guard yourself, lest you be ensnared after them, after they are destroyed from before your face, and lest you inquire after their elohim, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their elohim? And I also will do likewise.’
31
You shall not do so to Yahuah your Elohim, for every abomination to Yahuah that He hates they have done for their elohim; for even their sons and their daughters they burn in the fire to their elohim.
32
Every word that I command you, that you shall guard to do. You shall not add to it, and you shall not take away from it.”
