1
“And if a being sins, and hears the voice of an oath, and he is a witness—whether he has seen or known—and does not declare it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
2
Or if a being touches any unclean thing, whether the carcass of an unclean wild beast, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of an unclean creeping thing, though it was hidden from him, and he becomes unclean and guilty;
3
or if he touches the uncleanness of Adam, any uncleanness by which he becomes unclean, though it was hidden from him, and afterward he knows, then he is guilty;
4
or if a being swears, speaking rashly with his lips, to do evil or to do good—whatever an Adam may speak rashly with an oath—and it was hidden from him, but afterward he knows, then he is guilty in one of these.
5
And it shall be, when he is guilty in one of these, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
6
And he shall bring his guilt offering to Yahuah for his sin that he has sinned: a female from the flock, a ewe lamb or a female goat, as a sin offering. And the kohen shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.
7
And if his hand cannot reach enough for a sheep, then he shall bring as his guilt offering for that in which he sinned two turtledoves or two young pigeons to Yahuah: one as a sin offering and one as an ascending offering.
8
And he shall bring them to the kohen, who shall bring near first the one for the sin offering. And he shall pinch off its head at the front of its neck, but shall not divide it completely.
9
And he shall sprinkle from the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar, and the remainder of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
10
And the second he shall prepare as an ascending offering according to the judgment. And the kohen shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
11
But if his hand cannot reach two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then the one who sinned shall bring as his offering one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He shall place no oil upon it and put no frankincense upon it, for it is a sin offering.
12
And he shall bring it to the kohen, and the kohen shall take from it his full handful as its memorial portion and burn it upon the altar, upon the offerings by fire of Yahuah. It is a sin offering.
13
And the kohen shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him. And the remainder shall belong to the kohen, as with the grain offering.”
14
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
15
“If a being acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally concerning the holy things of Yahuah, then he shall bring his guilt offering to Yahuah: a whole ram from the flock, according to your valuation in silver sheqels, according to the sheqel of the sanctuary, as a guilt offering.
16
And that which he sinned against the holy thing he shall repay, and he shall add one-fifth to it and give it to the kohen. And the kohen shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
17
And if a being sins and does any of the commandments of Yahuah that are not to be done, though he did not know, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
18
And he shall bring to the kohen a whole ram from the flock according to your valuation, as a guilt offering. And the kohen shall make atonement for him concerning his error in which he erred without knowing, and it shall be forgiven him.
19
It is a guilt offering. Becoming guilty, he has surely become guilty before Yahuah.”
