1
And it came to pass on the eighth day that Mosheh called Aharon and his sons, and the elders of Yisra’el.
2
And he said to Aharon, “Take for yourself a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for an ascending offering, whole, and bring them near before Yahuah.
3
And to the sons of Yisra’el you shall speak, saying, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, sons of a year, whole, for an ascending offering,
4
and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before Yahuah, and a grain offering mixed with oil, for today Yahuah will appear to you.’”
5
And they took what Mosheh commanded before the Tent of Meeting, and all the congregation drew near and stood before Yahuah.
6
And Mosheh said, “This is the matter that Yahuah commanded you to do, and the glory of Yahuah shall appear to you.”
7
And Mosheh said to Aharon, “Draw near to the altar and prepare your sin offering and your ascending offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. And prepare the offering of the people and make atonement for them, according to what Yahuah commanded.”
8
And Aharon drew near to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering that was for himself.
9
And the sons of Aharon brought the blood near to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and placed it upon the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar.
10
And the fat, and the kidneys, and the lobe from the liver of the sin offering he burned upon the altar, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
11
And the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.
12
And he slaughtered the ascending offering, and the sons of Aharon presented the blood to him, and he threw it against the altar all around.
13
And the ascending offering they presented to him by its pieces, with the head, and he burned them upon the altar.
14
And he washed the inward parts and the legs and burned them upon the ascending offering on the altar.
15
And he brought near the offering of the people, and took the male goat of the sin offering that was for the people, and slaughtered it, and offered it for sin like the first.
16
And he brought near the ascending offering and prepared it according to the judgment.
17
And he brought near the grain offering and filled his hand from it and burned it upon the altar, besides the ascending offering of the morning.
18
And he slaughtered the ox and the ram as the sacrifice of peace offerings that was for the people. And the sons of Aharon presented the blood to him, and he threw it against the altar all around.
19
And the fat from the ox and from the ram—the fat tail, and what covers the inward parts, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver—
20
they placed the fat portions upon the breasts, and he burned the fat portions upon the altar.
21
And the breasts and the right thigh Aharon waved as a wave offering before Yahuah, according to what Mosheh commanded.
22
And Aharon lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them. And he came down after preparing the sin offering, and the ascending offering, and the peace offerings.
23
And Mosheh and Aharon entered the Tent of Meeting, and they came out and blessed the people. And the glory of Yahuah appeared to all the people.
24
And fire came out from before Yahuah and consumed upon the altar the ascending offering and the fat portions. And all the people saw, and they shouted and fell upon their faces.
