1
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
2
“Command the sons of Yisra’el that they bring to you pure oil of beaten olives for the light, to cause a lamp to go up continually.
3
Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, Aharon shall arrange it from evening until morning before Yahuah continually. It shall be an everlasting statute throughout your generations.
4
Upon the pure menorah he shall arrange the lamps before Yahuah continually.
5
And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes from it. Two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.
6
And you shall arrange them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before Yahuah.
7
And you shall place pure frankincense upon each row, and it shall be for the bread as a memorial portion, an offering by fire to Yahuah.
8
Shabbat by Shabbat he shall arrange it before Yahuah continually, from the sons of Yisra’el, as an everlasting covenant.
9
And it shall belong to Aharon and to his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, for it is most holy to him from the offerings by fire to Yahuah, an everlasting statute.”
10
And a son of an Yisra’elit ishah went out, and he was the son of a Mitzri ish among the sons of Yisra’el. And the son of the Yisra’elit ishah and an ish of Yisra’el struggled together in the camp.
11
And the son of the Yisra’elit ishah blasphemed the Name and cursed. And they brought him to Mosheh. And the name of his mother was Shelomit daughter of Divri, of the tribe of Dan.
12
And they placed him under guard, so that the matter might be made clear to them by the mouth of Yahuah.
13
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
14
“Bring the one who cursed outside the camp, and let all who heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
15
And to the sons of Yisra’el you shall speak, saying: Any ish who curses his Elohim shall bear his sin.
16
And the one who blasphemes the name of Yahuah, dying, he shall surely die. All the congregation shall stone him. As the sojourner, so the native, when he blasphemes the Name, he shall die.
17
And if an ish strikes down any life of Adam, dying, he shall surely die.
18
And the one who strikes down the life of a beast shall repay it, life for life.
19
And if an ish gives a defect to his companion, as he has done, so shall it be done to him:
20
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he gave a defect to an Adam, so shall it be given to him.
21
And the one who strikes a beast shall repay it, but the one who strikes an Adam shall die.
22
One judgment shall be for you, for the sojourner and for the native, for I am Yahuah your Elohim.”
23
And Mosheh spoke to the sons of Yisra’el, and they brought the one who cursed outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And the sons of Yisra’el did according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
