1
And Yahuah said to me, “Though Mosheh and Shemu’el stood before My face, My being would not be toward this people. Send them away from before My face, and let them go out.
2
And it shall be when they say to you, ‘Where shall we go?’ then you shall say to them, ‘Thus says Yahuah: Those for death—to death; those for the sword—to the sword; those for famine—to famine; and those for captivity—to captivity.’
3
And I shall appoint over them four families,” declares Yahuah: “the sword to kill, the dogs to drag away, the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.
4
And I shall give them for horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Menashsheh son of Chizqiyahu, sovereign of Yehudah, for what he did in Yerushalayim.
5
For who shall have compassion upon you, Yerushalayim? Who shall mourn for you? Who shall turn aside to ask of your shalom?
6
You have forsaken Me,” declares Yahuah. “You walk backward. Therefore I shall stretch out My hand against you and destroy you. I am weary of relenting.
7
And I shall winnow them with a winnowing fork in the gates of the land. I shall bereave; I shall destroy My people, for they have not returned from their ways.
8
Their widows shall multiply before Me beyond the sand of the seas. I shall bring upon them, against the mother of the young man, a destroyer at midday. I shall cause anguish and terror to fall upon her suddenly.
9
She who bore seven languishes; her being gasps. Her sun goes down while it is still day; she is ashamed and humiliated. And their remnant I shall give to the sword before their enemies,” declares Yahuah.
10
Woe to me, my mother, that you bore me— an ish of dispute and an ish of contention to all the land. I have neither lent at interest nor have they lent to me, yet every one curses me.
11
Yahuah said, “Surely I shall release you for good. Surely I shall cause the enemy to entreat you in the time of evil and in the time of distress.
12
Can iron break iron from the north, or bronze?
13
Your wealth and your treasuries I shall give as plunder, without price, because of all your sins and throughout all your borders.
14
And I shall cause you to pass with your enemies into a land you do not know, for a fire is kindled in My anger; against you it shall burn.”
15
You know, Yahuah. Remember me and visit me; avenge me upon my persecutors. In Your slowness to anger, do not take me away. Know that for Your sake I bear reproach.
16
Your Words were found, and I ate them. And Your Word became to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart, for Your Name is called upon me, Yahuah Elohim of Hosts.
17
I did not sit in the assembly of those laughing, nor did I rejoice. Because of Your hand I sat alone, for You filled me with indignation.
18
Why has my pain become enduring, and my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Shall You indeed become to me like a deceptive brook, like waters that are not faithful?
19
Therefore thus says Yahuah: “If you return, I shall bring you back; before My face you shall stand. If you bring out the precious from the vile, you shall be as My Mouth. Let them return to you, but you shall not return to them.
20
And I shall make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze. They shall fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you to save you and to deliver you,” declares Yahuah.
21
“And I shall deliver you from the hand of the wicked and redeem you from the palm of the violent.”
