1
To the Overseer, with stringed instruments, upon the Shemiyniyt. A melody of Daviyd.
2
Yahuah, do not correct me in Your anger, nor discipline me in Your burning wrath.
3
Show favor to me, Yahuah, for I am weak. Heal me, Yahuah, for my bones are disturbed.
4
My being also is greatly disturbed; and You, Yahuah—until when?
5
Return, Yahuah; rescue my being. Save me because of Your covenant-love.
6
For in death there is no remembrance of You; in Sheol, who gives thanks to You?
7
I am wearied with my sighing. All night I flood my bed; with my tears I dissolve my couch.
8
My eye wastes away from grief; it grows old because of all my adversaries.
9
Depart from me, all workers of crookedness, for Yahuah has heard the voice of my weeping.
10
Yahuah has heard my supplication; Yahuah receives my prayer.
11
Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly disturbed. Let them turn back; let them be ashamed in a moment.
