1
A Shiggayon of Daviyd, which he sang to Yahuah concerning the words of Kush ben Yemini.
2
Yahuah my Elohim, in You I seek refuge. Save me from all who pursue me, and rescue me,
3
lest he tear my being like a lion, ripping apart, with no one to rescue.
4
Yahuah my Elohim, if I have done this, if crookedness is in my palms,
5
if I repaid evil to one at shalom with me, or plundered my adversary without cause,
6
let the enemy pursue my being and overtake it; let him trample my life to the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.
7
Arise, Yahuah, in Your anger. Lift Yourself against the fury of my adversaries. Awake for me to the Judgment You commanded.
8
Let the congregation of peoples surround You, and over it return on high.
9
Yahuah judges the peoples. Judge me, Yahuah, according to my Righteousness and according to my integrity within me.
10
Let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; for the righteous Elohim examines hearts and inward parts.
11
My shield is upon Elohim, who saves the upright of heart.
12
Elohim is a righteous Judge, and an El indignant every day.
13
If one does not turn back, He sharpens His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready.
14
He prepares for him instruments of death; He makes His arrows burning ones.
15
See, he labors with crookedness; he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.
16
He dug a pit and hollowed it, and fell into the ditch he made.
17
His trouble returns upon his own head, and his violence descends upon his crown.
18
I give thanks to Yahuah according to His Righteousness, and make melody to the Name of Yahuah Elyon.
