1
To the Overseer, upon the Shemiyniyt. A melody of Daviyd.
2
Save, Yahuah, for the faithful one is no more; the trustworthy have vanished from among the sons of Adam.
3
Each speaks emptiness with his neighbor; flattering lips, with a divided heart, they speak.
4
May Yahuah cut off all flattering lips, the tongue speaking great things,
5
those who say, “By our tongue we prevail. Our lips are our own; who is master over us?”
6
“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, now I arise,” says Yahuah. “I set him in the Salvation for which he breathes.”
7
The Words of Yahuah are pure Words, silver refined in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
8
You, Yahuah, guard them; You preserve each one from this generation forever.
9
The wicked walk all around when vileness is exalted among the sons of Adam.
