1
A prayer of Daviyd. Hear Righteousness, Yahuah; attend to my cry. Give ear to my prayer, which is not from lips of deceit.
2
Let my Judgment go out from before Your face; let Your eyes behold uprightness.
3
You have examined my heart; You visited me by night. You refined me and found nothing; my mouth does not transgress what I resolved.
4
Concerning the deeds of Adam, by the Word of Your lips I guarded myself from the paths of the violent.
5
Uphold my steps in Your tracks, so my footsteps do not slip.
6
I call upon You, for You answer me, El. Incline Your ear to me; hear my speech.
7
Distinguish Your covenant-love, You who save those seeking refuge from those rising against Your right hand.
8
Guard me as the pupil, daughter of the eye. Hide me in the shadow of Your wings
9
from the face of the wicked who devastate me, my deadly enemies surrounding me.
10
They close their fat heart; with their mouth they speak proudly.
11
In our steps they now surround us. They set their eyes to bend us toward the earth.
12
His likeness is a lion longing to tear, like a young lion sitting in hidden places.
13
Arise, Yahuah! Confront his face; bend him down. Rescue my being from the wicked by Your sword,
14
from mortals by Your hand, Yahuah— mortals whose portion is in this life, whose belly You fill with Your hidden treasure. Their sons are satisfied, and they leave their abundance to their children.
15
As for me, in Righteousness I behold Your face. I am satisfied, when I awaken, with Your likeness.
