1
To the Overseer. Of the servant of Yahuah. Of Daviyd.
2
The declaration of transgression to the wicked is within my heart: there is no dread of Elohim before his eyes.
3
For he makes himself smooth in his own eyes concerning the finding of his crookedness and hating it.
4
The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good.
5
He devises trouble upon his bed; he stations himself on a way not good; he does not reject evil.
6
Yahuah, Your covenant-love is in the heavens; Your Faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
7
Your Righteousness is like the mountains of El; Your Judgments are a mighty deep. Adam and beast You save, Yahuah.
8
How precious is Your covenant-love, Elohim! The sons of Adam seek refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
9
They are saturated from the fatness of Your House, and You give them drink from the river of Your delights.
10
For with You is the Fountain of Life; in Your Light we see light.
11
Draw Your covenant-love toward those knowing You, and Your Righteousness toward the upright of heart.
12
Do not let the foot of pride come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
13
There the workers of crookedness have fallen; they are thrust down and are unable to rise.
