1
To the Overseer. A melody of Daviyd.
2
Blessed is the one acting wisely toward the poor; in the day of evil Yahuah delivers him.
3
Yahuah guards him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the earth. You do not give him to the desire of his enemies.
4
Yahuah sustains him upon a bed of sickness; in his illness You turn all his lying down.
5
I said, “Yahuah, show favor to me. Heal my being, for I have sinned against You.”
6
My enemies speak evil of me: “When does he die and his name perish?”
7
If one comes to see me, he speaks emptiness; his heart gathers trouble to itself; when he goes outside, he speaks it.
8
Together all who hate me whisper against me; against me they devise evil:
9
“A destructive matter is poured into him; now that he lies down, he does not rise again.”
10
Even the ish of my shalom, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.
11
But You, Yahuah, show favor to me and raise me, so I may repay them.
12
By this I know You delight in me: my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.
13
As for me, You uphold me in my integrity and station me before Your face forever.
14
Blessed is Yahuah, Elohim of Yisra’el, from eternity to eternity. Amein and Amein.
