1
To the Overseer, Al-Tashchet. A Miktam of Daviyd.
2
Do you truly speak silent Righteousness? Do you judge uprightly, sons of Adam?
3
Indeed, in heart you work crookedness; in the earth you weigh out the violence of your hands.
4
The wicked are estranged from the womb; speakers of falsehood wander from the belly.
5
Their venom is like the venom of a serpent, like a deaf cobra stopping its ear,
6
which does not hear the voice of whisperers, of the skilled binder of spells.
7
Elohim, break their teeth in their mouth; tear out the fangs of young lions, Yahuah.
8
Let them melt like waters flowing away; when he sets his arrow, let it be as though cut apart.
9
Like a snail melting as it goes, like the miscarriage of an ishah, let them not see the sun.
10
Before your pots discern the thornbush, whether living or burning, He sweeps it away in a whirlwind.
11
The righteous rejoices when he sees vengeance; he washes his footsteps in the blood of the wicked.
12
Then Adam says, “Surely there is fruit for the righteous; surely there is Elohim judging in the earth.”
