1
A melody of Daviyd, when he was in the wilderness of Yehudah.
2
Elohim, You are my El; early I seek You. My being thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and weary land without water.
3
Thus I have beheld You in the Set-Apart Place, seeing Your strength and Your Glory.
4
Because Your covenant-love is better than life, my lips praise You.
5
Thus I bless You while I live; in Your Name I lift my palms.
6
My being is satisfied as with fat and abundance, and my mouth praises with joyful lips.
7
When I remember You upon my bed, through the night watches I meditate on You.
8
For You have been my Help; in the shadow of Your wings I shout for joy.
9
My being clings after You; Your right hand upholds me.
10
But those seeking my being for devastation enter the lower parts of the earth.
11

12
