1
To the Overseer. A melody of Daviyd.
2
Hear my voice, Elohim, in my complaint; guard my life from dread of the enemy.
3
Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, from the roaring crowd of workers of crookedness,
4
who sharpen their tongue like a sword and aim their arrow—a bitter word—
5
to shoot the complete one in hiding. Suddenly they shoot him and do not fear.
6
They strengthen themselves in an evil matter; they recount the hiding of snares. They say, “Who sees them?”
7
They search out crookedness: “We have completed a searched-out plan.” The inward part of ish and the heart are deep.
8
But Elohim shoots them with an arrow; suddenly their wounds appear.
9
Their own tongue makes them stumble; all seeing them shake the head.
10
All Adam revere and declare the work of Elohim; they act wisely concerning His deed.
11
The righteous rejoices in Yahuah and seeks refuge in Him; all upright of heart boast.
