1
To the Overseer. A melody of Daviyd. A song.
2
Praise waits in silence for You, Elohim, in Tziyon; to You a vow is paid.
3
Hearer of prayer, to You all flesh comes.
4
Matters of crookedness prevail over me; our transgressions—You cover them.
5
Blessed is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts. We are satisfied with the goodness of Your House, Your set-apart Temple.
6
With fearsome deeds in Righteousness You answer us, Elohim of our Salvation, Trust of all ends of the earth and of farthest seas.
7
He establishes mountains by His strength, being girded with might.
8
He stills the roaring of seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of peoples.
9
Those dwelling at the ends revere Your signs; You make the exits of morning and evening shout for joy.
10
You attend to the earth and water it; You enrich it greatly. The channel of Elohim is full of water; You prepare their grain, for so You prepare the earth.
11
Saturating its furrows, settling its ridges, You soften it with showers; You bless its growth.
12
You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your wagon tracks drip fatness.
13
The pastures of the wilderness drip; hills gird themselves with rejoicing.
14
Meadows clothe themselves with flocks, and valleys wrap themselves in grain. They shout; yes, they sing.
