1
To the Overseer. A song. A melody. Shout to Elohim, all the earth!
2
Make melody to the Glory of His Name; set Glory as His praise.
3
Say to Elohim, “How fearsome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your strength Your enemies submit to You.
4
All the earth bows to You and makes melody to You; they make melody to Your Name.” Selah.
5
Come and see the works of Elohim, fearsome in deed toward the sons of Adam.
6
He turned the sea to dry land; through the river they passed on foot. There we rejoiced in Him.
7
He rules by His might forever; His eyes watch the nations. Let the rebellious not exalt themselves. Selah.
8
Bless our Elohim, peoples, and make the voice of His praise heard.
9
He sets our being among the living and does not allow our foot to be moved.
10
For You examined us, Elohim; You refined us as silver is refined.
11
You brought us into the net; You placed pressure upon our loins.
12
You made enosh ride over our head; we entered fire and water, but You brought us into abundance.
13
I enter Your House with ascending offerings; I pay my vows to You,
14
which my lips opened and my mouth spoke in my distress.
15
Ascending offerings of fattened beasts I lift to You with incense of rams; I prepare cattle with male goats. Selah.
16
Come, hear, all who revere Elohim, and I recount what He has done for my being.
17
To Him I called with my mouth, and exaltation was beneath my tongue.
18
If I had seen crookedness in my heart, Adonai would not hear.
19
But truly Elohim heard; He attended to the voice of my prayer.
20
Blessed is Elohim, who has not turned away my prayer or His covenant-love from me.
