1
To the Overseer, Al-Tashchet. A melody of Asaph. A song.
2
We thank You, Elohim; we thank You, and Your Name is near. They recount Your wonders.
3
“When I take the appointed time, I judge uprightly.
4
The earth and all dwelling in it melt; I have established its pillars.” Selah.
5
I said to the boastful, “Do not boast,” and to the wicked, “Do not lift the horn.
6
Do not lift your horn on high; do not speak with an arrogant neck.”
7
For lifting does not come from east or west or from the wilderness of mountains.
8
But Elohim is Judge; He lowers one and lifts another.
9
For a cup is in the hand of Yahuah, with wine foaming, full of mixture; He pours from it. Surely all the wicked of the earth drain and drink its dregs.
10
But I declare forever; I make melody to the Elohim of Ya’aqov.
11
“All horns of the wicked I cut off; the horns of the righteous are lifted.”
