A melody of Asaph. Elohim stands in the congregation of El; in the midst of elohim He judges.

“Until when do you judge crookedly and lift the faces of the wicked? Selah.

Judge the poor and fatherless; give Righteousness to the afflicted and needy.
4
Rescue the poor and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

They do not know and do not understand; in darkness they walk. All foundations of the earth are moved.
6
I said, ‘You are elohim, and all of you sons of Elyon.’
7
Yet like Adam you die, and like one of the rulers you fall.”
8
Arise, Elohim; judge the earth, for You inherit all nations.
