1
A song. A melody of Asaph.
2
Elohim, do not be silent; do not be quiet and do not be still, El.
3
For see, Your enemies roar, and those hating You lift the head.
4
Against Your people they make cunning secret counsel and conspire against Your hidden ones.
5
They say, “Come, let us cut them off from being a nation, so the name of Yisra’el is remembered no more.”
6
For together they take counsel with one heart; against You they cut a covenant:
7
tents of Edom and Yishma’elites, Mo’av and Hagriym,
8
Geval, Ammon, and Amaleq, Peleshet with inhabitants of Tzor.
9
Ashshur also has joined them; they have become an arm to the sons of Lot. Selah.
10
Do to them as to Midyan, as to Sisera, as to Yaviyn at the wadi Qishon,
11
who were destroyed at En-Dor and became dung for the ground.
12
Set their nobles like Orev and Ze’ev, all their princes like Zevach and Tzalmuna,
13
who said, “Let us possess for ourselves the pastures of Elohim.”
14
My Elohim, set them like a rolling thing, like straw before the ruach.
15
As fire burns a forest and flame sets mountains ablaze,
16
so pursue them with Your storm and terrify them with Your whirlwind.
17
Fill their faces with shame, so they seek Your Name, Yahuah.
18
Let them be ashamed and terrified perpetually; let them be confounded and perish.
19
Let them know that You—Your Name is Yahuah— You alone are Elyon over all the earth.
