1
El of vengeance, Yahuah; El of vengeance, shine forth!
2
Lift Yourself, Judge of the earth; return reward upon the proud.
3
Until when do the wicked, Yahuah— until when do the wicked exult?
4
They pour forth; they speak arrogance; all workers of crookedness boast.
5
Your people, Yahuah, they crush; Your Inheritance they afflict.
6
Widow and stranger they kill; fatherless they murder.
7
They say, “Yah does not see; the Elohim of Ya’aqov does not understand.”
8
Understand, brutish ones among the people; fools, when will you act wisely?
9
The One planting the ear—does He not hear? The One forming the eye—does He not see?
10
The One correcting nations—does He not rebuke? He who teaches Adam knowledge?
11
Yahuah knows the designs of Adam, that they are vapor.
12
Blessed is the mighty one You correct, Yah, whom You teach from Your Torah,
13
to give him rest from days of evil until a pit is dug for the wicked.
14
For Yahuah does not reject His people or forsake His Inheritance.
15
For Judgment returns to Righteousness, and all upright of heart follow it.
16
Who rises for me against evildoers? Who stations himself for me against workers of crookedness?
17
Unless Yahuah had been my Help, my being would soon have dwelt in silence.
18
If I said, “My foot is slipping,” Your covenant-love, Yahuah, sustained me.
19
In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me, Your comforts delight my being.
20
Is a throne of destruction joined to You— one forming trouble by statute?
21
They gather against the being of the righteous and declare innocent blood wicked.
22
But Yahuah has become my high refuge, and my Elohim the Rock of my refuge.
23
He returns their crookedness upon them and silences them in their own evil. Yahuah our Elohim silences them.
